Echoes of Innocence

My degree show abstract work revisits childhood’s uncertainty and wonder, offering viewers a sense of self‑healing and nurture. Inspired by the surreal, playful worlds of children’s television, my intuitive compositions use bright, bold colours and gestural brushstrokes to evoke a child’s perspective. By extending painting into sculptural forms, I pushed beyond the canvas into three‑dimensional space, challenging traditional boundaries and inviting immersive engagement. My practice celebrates the simplicity and innocence of youth, reigniting the joy and playfulness often lost in adulthood.
