Artist Books

This section displays a series of handmade and bound artist books that were created during my undergraduate studies in Painting. These books explore the tactile side of painting, which can often be lost in a final artwork. These books are all composed of painting studies or reworked test paintings, which highlight the often repetitive, non-linear and imperfect process that underpins the arrival at a final artwork.
