Visit My Hometown Poster Campaign

This unit introduced students to lino printing and graphic design, creating a promotional poster campaign for their hometowns. Drawing from primary sources and developing a catchy slogan, students combined image and text to communicate to a veiwer the appeal of their area. Through observational drawing, type design and printing, students produced a refined edition of prints. The unit encouraged reflection on identity, environment and design, while building confidence in printmaking techniques.
